For those of you who follow me on Twitter, you already know this, but I thought I'd recount my story. I was driving the boys home from the library this morning and noticed that a white Honda was following me pretty closely. I was driving west on 14th and decided to change lanes to let him pass. Instead, he changed lanes along with me and continued to follow pretty closely. I then turned north onto Colorado and then east onto to 23rd, all the while, he was still following me very closely. I decided not to go to the house where I work so I started going in and out of subdivisions to see if he was really following me and he continued to follow me throughout. I then circled back around and started to head back west on 23rd, heading towards the nearest police station. He continued to follow me, so I picked up my phone in order to call 911, but just as I brought the phone to my ear, he turned north off another side street. My only regret is that I didn't get his license plate, but I was really trying to concentrate on keeping the boys safe at that point. So, my advice is never go home if you feel you are being followed, even if it's not true, it's better to be safe than dead. And yes, it can even happen in broad daylight!
